Rugby World Cup – Japan 2019
The wait is almost over! It is nearly time for Rugby’s biggest and most prestigious competition on the calendar! It is Rugby World Cup time Ladies and Gents!
The 2019 Rugby World Cup begins Friday 20th September and ends with the final on Saturday 2nd November, with many matches played throughout Japan.
The Pools are as follows:

2nd November 2019 – The Rugby World Cup Final
The biggest match in rugby union, the World Cup Final will take place at the International Stadium in Yokohama. It will kick off at nine in the morning.

The home side Japan will be right up for this, It is not the first time they have shocked the rugby world. In the 2015 RWC they managed to pull off a 34-32 Win over South Africa in the dying seconds of the game. That is not their only impressive result… they beat the USA, Fiji and lost to the All blacks 31-69, still, to score that many points against the All Blacks it proves their attacking capabilities. Japan also have the home advantage this world cup, could we potentially see upsets within group A!
Predicting the top 6 is a pretty tough one to call, all coming on and off form in the past couple of years. Eddie Jones’s England squad had a stunning unbeaten run of 19 games from October 2015 to March 2017. Although rocky recently with mix of results. New Zealand have won the last two tournaments, but will they make it a hat-trick in 2019?
However, their dominance is being thoroughly questioned by teams like South Africa, England, Ireland and Wales.
