Following the success of the previous seven festivals, we are delighted to offer this tournament again for 2011. The location is magnificent on the beautiful Cornish coast. The Rugby festival guests will stay at the St Ives Bay Holiday Park in Hayle. The site, which is adjacent to miles of golden sands, has glorious views of the picturesque St Ives Bay.

FESTIVAL FORMAT

Whilst being competitive the emphasis of the weekend is on fun, families and friendship, together with a good quality and enjoyable rugby competition. The festival, run by the Hayle Mini/Junior rugby club, is organised under the RFU Continuum guidelines for mini rugby.

The number of entrants in each age group will be restricted with clubs initially playing in “pools” with the semis & finals on Sunday. Winners and runner-up, or plate winners, in each age group will receive trophies.


We will also be pleased to encourage clubs who are bringing several age groups to bring under 13`s and 14's with them. Suitable friendly fixtures or “round robins” will be arranged for these extra age levels..
