SAMPLE ITINERARY

This is a guide and can be amended to suit your team’s personal requirements

Day One

Morning – Depart your local Cricket Club for the journey to Kent using own transport. Check into your hotel in a central location where accommodation is reserved on a bed and breakfast basis for three nights.

Afternoon – 20/20 MATCH in local area. After socialising with the hosts, return to the hotel.

Evening – Rest of the evening at leisure to explore the city.

Day Two

Breakfast -(similar time each morning)

Morning –  at leisure in Canterbury, possible visit to the Canterbury Tales which is one of Canterbury’s most popular visitor attractions. Experience the sights, sounds and smells of the Middle ages in this amazing reconstruction. This highly recommended attraction is based on Canterbury’s famous literacy classic Geoffrey Chaucer.

Afternoon – MATCH DAY. After socialising with the host club, return to the hotel.

Evening – at leisure.

Day Three

Morning – at leisure, maybe visit the seaside town of Whitstable and Herne Bay.

Afternoon – Depart for second fixture – MATCH DAY. After-match guests of host club before returning to Canterbury.

Evening – Final evening at leisure in the city.

Day Four

Morning – Check out of accommodation and commence the return journey home having had a very enjoyable tour!
