Clifton Village toured Cornwall staying at a popular hotel, run by a former County cricketer, in the centre of Newquay, Cornwall's liveliest resort.

Games were arranged against Rosudgeon & Kenneggy on the Tuesday, Stithians on the Wednesday and on Thursday at Crofty/Holmans. Most mornings were spent on the Cornish gold courses.
